When Bobby's teacher asks her class what everyone wants to be when they grow up, Bobby is the only one who proudly announces he wants to be a dancer.  His classmates don't understand.  They think dancing is just for girls.

Bobby asks his parents about that and they encourage him by enrolling him in a dance class.

Bobby's brother doesn't seem to like that his brother is dancing.  He often makes fun of Bobby with the other kids at school.

At the end of Bobby's dance class is a recital for everyone's families.  On the night of the recital one of the dancers is sick.  Who will replace the sick dancer?

It's a surprise ending to a book about family, friendship and dance!
